Heat the mites.
Save the hive.
ThermaHive is a precision-controlled thermotherapy system that kills Varroa mites without chemicals, residues, or resistance, designed to work with your hive, not against it.
Built on everything we learned from ThermaHive V1 field testing, V2 is our most refined system yet.

The future of mite treatment is heat.
Varroa mites have a lower temperature tolerance than honeybees. ThermaHive exploits that gap with precision-controlled heat, airflow, and real-time monitoring. No chemicals, no residues, no resistance.
Unlike solar or passive heat devices, ThermaHive is an active, powered system that works in any climate, any season. It plugs in at the base of your hive, treats brood and adults in place, and logs every session for review, wirelessly over Wi-Fi or through the BroodMinder app.
Because no chemicals ever enter the hive, there’s no honey-super removal requirement or harvest waiting period to plan around, treat and harvest on your own schedule, with a better shot at multiple honey pulls in a season once your hive is ready. And ThermaHive is a one-time hardware investment, not a chemical treatment you rebuy every season, multiple times a year. The only added cost is an optional extra unit if you’re treating more than one hive.
One device. Every season.
Most mite tools sit in the shed eleven months a year. ThermaHive stays on the hive and keeps working.
Spring
Gentle warming and airflow support weak colonies through cold snaps and speed early buildup.
Summer
Precision heat treatment kills Varroa in the brood, no chemicals, no frame removal. Ventilation Mode moves air on the hottest days.
Fall
A treatment clears mites before winter.
Winter
Passive monitoring logs hive temperature and humidity so you know the colony is alive without cracking the lid.
Not a seasonal treatment. A year-round hive companion.
