The Heater Insert is the working heart of the ThermaHive system. It snaps into any Bottom Treatment Frame via a magnetic locking connection, connects to the controller, and brings your hive up to treatment temperature with a self-regulating 220 V PTC ceramic heating element, rated for 230 to 240 V mains. When the treatment is done, pull it out in seconds and move it to the next hive.

Requires a Bottom Treatment Frame and ThermaHive Controller to operate. Compatible with all ThermaHive V2 Bottom Treatment Frames.
Built to order for 220 to 240 V countries. Pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the product price, plus shipping in full, when you order. Expected lead time is 4 to 6 weeks, and we email you a link to pay the balance when it is ready to ship. Import VAT or GST and any duties, where they apply, are collected by the carrier on delivery.

The Heater Insert handles the hard part: converting electrical power into precise, controlled heat that fills your hive evenly during treatment. One insert can move between any number of hives equipped with a Bottom Treatment Frame.
